This would have been an Excellent except for the wait staff. Food was extremely good, we had a cold cracked lobster, scallops and pork belly, and a ribeye. All were great with wonderful presentations. The experience dining on a tall ship was nice too. The wait staff were not as good as they could have been.....only shortcoming. Our family always goes out for a very nice dinner during the Christmas holidays and we decided to try Moshulu this year. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was terrific. We had a few questions about the menu and he answered them right away. He was very happy to offer up his favorite choices as well as the most popular... Took my wife and daughters for a nice dinner since we would not be able to do Thanksgiving together.

The ship is old, the floor slopes to one side, but that is the unique charm of the place that we all enjoyed. For the price you pay for the meal, I have to say the service was only adequate and... My 3rd visit here - very disappointed in the service. Front desk staff was distant / not happy to help. We arrived at 5 pm (slow time) with a reservation and had to wait almost 15 minutes to be seated. Food was good, as usual, but they are too heavy on sauces, which take away from the good food (grilled... “Great food in a very interesting location” We went to Moshulu for our son's wedding and reception. He and hi s fiance had made all the arrangements. Our large party of friends and out-of-town relarives had a great time. Good food and good service. Made reservations and was seated immediately. We were seated right by window and the ambience was very romantic. The waiter gave great recommendations for food and drink. All the courses were served in the proper amount of time which sometimes doesn't happen.
