We made a reservation prior to arrival which is a very good idea as space is tight and they are very very busy. The waitress was very attentive and got everybody's order correct. Jonesy's is a fabulous neighbourhood restaurant. The food is always delicious, the service is quick & efficient and the menu offers so many choices. They have added some new items to the menu, the pickerel sandwich is very tasty. Every meal is cooked to perfection, amazing that the chefs are able to provide such variety and do it so well.... “Classic Cheeseburger is the Best!!” A small quant place in Birds Hill and a favorite with the locals. Not a lot of tables in either the lounge or the dinning room, but that makes it nicer. You can carry on a conversation without screaming to be heard. Taco Salad, Steak Sandwich, Chicken Parmesan, and the Rib Shrimp Special were all very good. Thank you for your glowing review! It is located just outside Winnipeg in Birds Hill. There never really seems to be too many people in here, but they serve your typical American/Canadian food. A highlight of this restaurant is the blooming onion, though probably terrible for your health. It is rare to see a... They make the best crusty Shrimp, I order it most times I go there. Great little restaurant, only complaint I do not care for their house wine, it should be changed, have mentioned it to them, but no change has been made to date. Who would expect to find a great relaxing, unpretentious, restaurant in Birds Hill. Tuesday's are wing night and Thursday are Rib nights.
