I was bored to tears listening to this audiobook. Almost as boring as Remains of the Day. It was so hard to focus on the narrators and their talking was just drivel. Almost every paragraph is good for thought, loved it enough that I bought a hard copy! I got this book from the free table at my local library.

I find the marginalia of the previous reader more engaging than the book. Elegant, thought-provoking and surprising. Someone once asked me what a book was about. I replied, "all good books are about the meaning of life. I adore this book! I've read it multiple times and recommended it to many friends. It offers fresh interesting unusual perspectives on a quirky faction of society. I really did not like this book at all; it set my teeth on edge nearly the entire duration. I kept going, hoping that these narrators would become enlightened to some degree, but... Such a unique and thoughtful book, so beautifully written. Highly recommend this book to anyone. It captures the essence of life Look for Similar Items by Category Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Coming of Age Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Family Life
