definitely enjoying plenty of sake and beer with foods that complement them. Our hospitality spirits from Japan with a warm welcome, will always bring you a smile and a great time! The heart of Toronto’s Midtown district is Yonge and Eglinton, and if you find yourself in the neighbourhood and looking for a bite to eat, you’ll find that there are plenty of different cuisines to choose from.  Everything from Japanese to Italian to the perfect steak, can be found in the area. If you’re looking for a casual wine bar with authentic Neapolitan pizza, the first stop on our tour of midtown is Sip Wine Bar at Broadway and Yonge. sushi garden menu in tucson azYou can sit back and relax, enjoy your wine, and unwind from your day. And if you don’t feel like pizza, don’t worry, they have a full selection of pastas and other Italian dishes. If you are looking for a taste of Italy with a genuine Italian ambiance, you’ll want to check out La Vecchia, a couple of blocks north of Eglinton on Yonge.
The restaurant is small and cozy, and very welcoming. With a wide assortment of pastas and seafood you’ll find yourself hard pressed to make a choice on what to eat. Our recommendation, ask for the seafood risotto. Sushi Rock is at the corner of Yonge and Broadway Avenue, just north of Eglinton, and it offers a wide array of sushi, soups and salads. It’s a great option for a quick lunch, or even ordering for an eat-in office meeting. They will deliver to you for a small fee, or you can pick it up yourself. Another fairly new addition to the neighbourhood is Korean Cowboy, which is an interesting mix of southern cooking with a southeast Asian flare. It’s the kind of place you would want to go to after work where you can enjoy some loud music, drink some craft beer, and eat some hand food. It’ll help you unwind after a long day at work. Located north of Eglinton on Yonge. Another good Italian restaurant in the area is Grazie Ristorante, which has been a fixture for 25 years.
It’s focus is southern Italian cuisine, complete with fresh to order sauce and homemade pizza dough. You can dress up for a nice date night, or come in right after work, as the atmosphere is warm and casual. If you haven’t heard of the Thai food chain Spring Rolls, we’d be surprised. There are locations all around the city, and in Midtown it is located on Eglinton, just east of Yonge. It’s the prefect place for casual gatherings, with reasonably priced food and drinks. The menu is fairly large, and you are bound to find exactly the type of Thai food you are looking for. Our final dining destination is The Keg. The midtown location has only been around for a few years, but like all restaurants in the franchise chain it is the perfect location for everything from a business lunch to after work cocktails. They know their steaks, and they cook them perfectly suited to your taste. They also have a wonderful selections of seafood, including lobster. It’s located just south of Eglinton on Yonge.
