The waitress was charming and friendly after she forgot to bring a menu to begin with. If I could afford it I would come more often...I have been to many sushi restaurants, and this one topped it for authenticity, friendly service and quality of food. It is clearly run by a family, and the space is small and exclusive. The food was lovely and we ordered a huge amount including lashings of sake- and it the price per head came to only £24- absolute steal! The restaurant is about a 10 min walk from Clapham Junction station. We ordered a selection of sushi for starter, then had some Chicken Katsu, Seaweed salad, fried octopus, Miso Cod, and some mackerel. The food taste and presentation were okay but nothing really stood out - more like a Japanese canteen Shukudo. Rice was hard and a bit disappointing. Service was okay but not very friendly.
