“They also have many traditional Japanese favorites as well as a full order off menu if you're not feeling the conveyor belt.” “I have to say my top 2 favs are the Haru Poppers, which is crab salad mix stuffed into a jalapeno & dipped in tempura batter & fried (oh sweet heaven!)” “But once you got over that, the sushi was good, I was impressed that the Las Vegas roll was still warm...and the basic sushi was good!” Show more review highlights "I was invited here by my grandparents for their last dinner while they were in town before heading back to the midwest and had no idea what to expect... but I was pleasantly surprised. Having grown up in a Chinese family, I missed the dishes that my mom and dad made which you don't see at PF Chang's or your average dim…" This is a great moving belt of sushi but the restaurant was very understaffed. It took 20 minutes to get a table when there were several tables available. It was impossible to get a second cup of tea and you had to wave down a server to pay. The sushi was good but not the best in the valley. This was only my 2nd experience for sushi. It was a great experience. We had great seating, right in front of the cooks, therefore, got to experience some very fresh sushi! I will definitely be back. My husband and I visit Teharu twice a month. The revolving sushi is entertaining, there is a good variety (mostly rolls), and if you want something specific that isn't on the conveyor you can put in an order.
Definitely worth a visit. We were in Phoenix, Az and found this place for dinner. Great food and service. The sushi goes around on a conveyer belt, you just serve your self and pay for the plates you consume. Lots of varieties of sushi to pick from. Made fresh by the chefs I front of your table. Servers are very friendly and attentive. We were on holiday with family and came here for a evening meal. It was a full house and had to wait for our table even though we booked in advance. But the wait was worth it, the food is fantastic! And great value for money too with lots of variety. took my son for his bday he loves sushi. we walked in his eyes lit up! the food was fresh the chefs were friendly the staff was great . it was clean and it was busy .. I recommend you try it. An option for lunch if you are in a budget. OK place but noticed some issues: rice was from the day before, egg items looked old, avocado was rotten, they do often forget to cover the plates; and the supposed to be hot items were cold.
Options at the conveyor seems to be limited to the cheap ingredients. We haven't been here in awhile, but it was busy and fun as always. At lunch there was just a one minute wait for a table. The sushi is delivered via conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant. Just pick up plates of sushi, pot stickers, salad, desserts and some drinks as they roll past you. When my wife an I are in the mood for sushi this is where we go. It's best to get there early on weekend nights to avoid the really long lines (the sign of a good restaurant, however). While the revolving ready-made sushi bar is kind of cool, we find that if you order off of the menu you get...Planning a trip to Phoenix?Foursquare can help you find the best places to go to.Find great things to doTeharu Sushi$ /"" Log in to leave a tip here.Sort: Colin MattsonKim HolstAndy FrancoJon HernandezJuan MoralesJuan MoralesPint VintariDavid Calderon🌵Andrew Kolikoff🌵🌵Andrew Kolikoff🌵JordynPhoenix New TimesThe exterior of Haru is deceptively fortress-like, but inside it's and cheerful, with a sprawling three-sided surrounded by a sleek .
