We ordered hibachi dinner that was prepared in the kitchen and brought to us. We also ordered a sampler of sushi/sashimi. The sushi was fine, not amazing, but not bad. The entrees were overly seasoned, saturated with sauces, and mushy. My children liked the miso soup. My husband's fried rice was literally rice with soy sauce on it. They all ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki - which no one finished. I appreciated that they had kid's pricing, which was a draw to making the reservation in the first place. The portions were large and they gave a side or noodles, which were actually fine. My kids refused to eat the mushrooms and broccoli in the vegetable medley, both items they generally enjoy at a Japanese restaurant.

Either the server was lying as an excuse for her lack of customer care or her manager, who should be the person "helping her", doesn't care either.

The tepanayki/hibachi section was busy so there was a lot going on for the kids to see. The food was just what you expect - ample serving size and good, but not great, taste.
