Great for lunch or dinner! This place has great food. I have been here twice and both times it was very noisy. The atmosphere seems more like a bar than a sushi place. We always come here for sushi, good fresh and always good service! Looking forward to our next dinner! Love all the the choices in the menu, we often visit with all our family, my oldest daughter favorite place, love their bar too. great sushi spot in Gilroy, fresh and tasty all the time. its always busy so expect to be there for a bit. pink roll & crunch shrimp roll are amazing!!! This visit was July 27th. We had a group of 12 people, on 3 tables grouped together, for dinner. Usually when have gone, as a couple, they give a complementary bowl of edamame per table. We were only given 2 bowls for 12 people/3 tables.

We had to order another bowl which never was delivered. All but one person ordered... Thank you for alerting us to this situation. While we are happy to hear you enjoyed the food, we're disappointed we dropped the ball on service that day. Please accept our sincere apology and allow us the chance to impress you again in the future - with both food and service! We've been to Sushi Omakase several times. Even though they are almost always busy, seating has been efficient, and service has been fast and friendly. Only once did we wait over 30 minutes for our food, and that was primarily due to one of the chefs calling in sick that day. They have an astonishing assortment of rolls, nigiri, noodles,... Cruising thru yhe strip mall out jumps Sushi Omakase! Pleasantly surprised by the super nice waiters but the Food was delicious and presented as it should be. We had the Lobster Bisque and the Red Dragon and they were super. We live in a large city and wish we could get sushi there.
