soup, great atmosphere and fried rice children to enjoy ...the four of us for dinner co we got were burnt. We were then told beca ion was just not there. I specially asked for no mushrooms with the hibachi since we were the only two at the table. Chrissy Land Brinson.on Father's Day of all times. We ordered medium rare steak and everyone else got medium, somehow we ended“The Hibachi is the standard that one will see everywhere in the U.S. however the quality and taste of the food was impressive.” “My sushi bar neighbor, Daniel, suggested the Party in your Mouth roll - at first I thought he was just being pervvy, haha, until I saw it on the specials board.” “Driving down 75 from Atlanta, you see all kinds of Japanese restaurants billboards.” "On the way back home to Florida and we happened to stop in Valdosta for the night . Family was hungry and didn't want fast food but it was a little after 11pm and it wasn't looking good . But I found Big…" This place isn't overly elegant but the waitress we ended up with was really friendly and the sushi was good.
We sat in the sushi bar which is "seat yourself" and close quarters but all in all it was a nice dinner. The waitress definitely saved it. The first waitress that came by seemed like she could care less. Up until the cook coughed on the grill everything was fine....raised the flags at that point....then he puts med rare fillet on my plate..the same plate I had been eating my rice off of...the problem, I ordered med well...he took it back off my plate, out it back on the grill mixed it with the other fillets and started passing... Arrived for a fun Birthday celebration and left feeling rushed and disappointed. Chef didn't smile or even say two words to anyone at the table. The food orders were incorrect on several items and we were rushed through the meal and rushed to pay the check. Birthday picture is blurry and the size of a postage stamp! Restaurant was dark and old. Staff and Chef were average, nothing special. Sushi was good, main course was average. Would not eat here on return visit.
Prices were high even for Japanese food. Food similar to the places where it's cooked at the table. The savings must be that here it's prepared in the kitchen. The food was fantastic. I love going to Japanese Restaurants that cook in front of you. Our cook could have been a little better, but the food more than made up for it. Not the best Japanese I have ever had. Waitress and cook had very little personality! $28 for just myself and a drink for my son. Ate dinner here at the Sushi bar, and I was quite pleased with the quality. You wouldn't expect good sushi in rural south georgia. The chef was quick to make my rolls, and the service was good considering it was packed. The prices were reasonable and the menu had a lot to offer in the way of rolls considering the... This is one of our favorite places to eat in Valdosta. The sushi room is great if you don't want to go through the cooking demonstration at the grill tables, or if you don't feel like sitting at a table with people you don't know.

My fiance and I recently moved to the area from Augusta, GA where we had frequented the same Japanese Steakhouse for many years. We decided we would try out a local Japanese Steakhouse and Mori was recommended to us. We went and right away we knew it was different just by the size of the plates! Then, we were quite amazed at the difference in quantity of food. WAY LESS than in Augusta - AND the price was more! jiro dreams of sushi shaw on demandWe do not recommend this restaurant at all.sushi seaweed sheets asdaTake Out Restaurants, Share Review12/09/2007great steak and seafood...great steak and seafoodShareFlag12/06/2007very goodthe food is pretty good and service is great but the prices r a little high for meShareFlag12/06/2007very goodvery good food and good serviceShareFlag12/05/2007very goodgreat pricesShareFlag
