This documentary looks the competition between breweries; especially  beer giants Budweiser, Miller, and Coors, compared to craft breweries trying to make it big in the industry.  If you’re a beer fan, this one’s for you. Jamie Oliver is a British chef and restaurateur who has devoted his career to educating children about food and creating healthier options for school food choices.

Our Daily Bread is a documentary made in Germany about factory farming, but with a catch. There is no narrator filling your mind with biased facts or ideas, no one to tell you how to think.  With the exception of baby chicks chirping and machines running, there are no real sounds in this movie.  This allows the viewer to make their own conclusions about the film. It’s available on Youtube. Believe it or not, corn goes into just about everything you eat.  From the ice cream in milkshakes to the bun of your hamburger patty, corn can make its way into almost anything on your plate.  Watch the whole thing on Youtube here. This film looks at the influence of the fast-food industry on personal health, with writer, director, and media personality, Morgan Spurlock as it’s focus.  Spurlock subjects himself to eating only McDonald’s food for three meals a day for an entire month. Check it out here on Hulu. Konnichiwa, Zac Efron‘s fantastic new facial hair. The actor is sporting a serious mustache on vacation in Japan with girlfriend Sami Miro, as evidenced by social media. Efron, who has been abroad with Miro since last week, debuted the new look while in Kyoto, the one-time capital of Japan. In a series of photos shared on Instagram, the star explored what looked like a traditional Japanese wooden house – one of many in Kyoto, which is also home to many classical Buddhist temples.

The star’s mustache took center stage in one photo, where he flashed the peace sign. Efron accompanied the image with a Japanese flag emojii, followed by the characters for “I Love You.” Miro joined him in another photo, where the couple sat in a yoga resting pose in the home they were visiting. Efron also leaned nonchalantly against one of the home’s beams, a photo he captioned “whats up,” again, with traditional Japanese lettering. For $14.99 U.S. a month, Americans will be able to stream HBO like it’s Netflix — no cable TV subscription necessary. Subscribers to HBO Now, as it’s called, will have access to new shows almost instantaneously. They’ll be able to stream this Sunday’s season premiere of “Game of Thrones” at the same time as “live” TV viewers see it.For the next three months, HBO Now will be available exclusively through Apple’s iTunes and will be accessible on Apple devices or desktop browsers, but apps for other platforms, including Android, are expected soon.Yet none of this is happening in Canada. Bell Media owns the rights to the HBO name in Canada, and operates HBO Canada independently of the U.S. brand that is owned by Time Warner.And thanks to an “unprecedented” exclusivity deal Bell Media signed with HBO last year, all of HBO's off-air library of TV shows will be exclusively carried by Bell properties.
