It's great when the reviews line up. Thumbs up and thanks for keeping us informed! We go there so much, they know what we want before we order. Fast service, friendly staff, great food!!! Best sushi in Tuscaloosa. We went out for drinks and some food. I was pleasantly surprised by this small, buy quality place! The food was great and the service was too!! I highly recommend it!!!

Bento box was very good. A little salty though. Came with a salad, two crab rangoon, fried rice and hibachi style beef for around $8.00. Was told by my son to eat here. Very good food at prices that are reasonable.There were just a few eating when we arrived but by the time we finished the place was full of students. Students usually know where to eat good cheaply. The food I felt was okay. This was my first time here when visiting my son. He thinks it is great. I much prefer Mr. Chen's. Absolutely one of the best places to eat in Tuscaloosa. Bento boxes are delicious. Great service, they serve you with a smile. Hole in the wall, but don't let that deter you. The sushi is delicious! We got a large amount of food for a low price and the quality was great. Ate at Ichiban and had awful stomach problems after. I gave it another try about a year later and nothing changed. Definitely need to change their ingredients so they don't make you sick. The crab rangoons and mini egg rolls were fairly good.

The Elvis roll was ok, didn't care for the California roll, steamed veggies tasted like a bag out of the freezer at Walmart microwaved. I ordered a Beef bowl with onions and a seasoned broth served with steamed rice. It was shaved paper thin meat that looked like it belonged... Recently ordered several different rolls from here to go and RNR Sushi did not disappoint. Tons of choices on the menu, everything sounded great and it was hard to choose just a few rolls. Really looking forward to going back and dining in house. I ate there twice for lunch and both times it was delicious. The sushi was very fresh and prepared shortly before serving. The waiters were very nice and helpful.The location is convenient and the atmosphere is unique. Located in downtown Tuscaloosa is one of the really good places to find sushi. The atmosphere is fun and the service is good. A friendly atmosphere for really good food. I enjoyed my sushi, it was flavorable and tasted pretty fresh. The service was very, very slow and seemed unconcerned with it.

Servers spent a lot of time chatting near the kitchens. A different atmosphere from most sushi experiences. Rolls are named for R&R music legends. We arrived early lunch and sat at the bar. Spent time reading the menu and looking at the wall art. Service was quick and I thought the price was fair. The sushi is pitiful and very expensive. Freshness is lacking meaning that tuna that should be firm is mush. I really don't see how this one will survive even with 34,000 college students as potential customers. I love the menus that are made from old vinyl albums. All the rolls I've tried have been delicious! The fried ones especially! The restaurant is very noisy when it's crowded, but overall it's a great place if you're looking for good sushi. I will definitely keep coming back! This place was cleverly decorated and designed. It's clean and sushi is great! I am not much of a Rock fan but that place had me "googling" certain bands. I am a huge customer service person.. that is important to me.
