I was in Ballyfermot on Saturday evening when I got a text asking me to bring sushi home with me. A quick query among friends as to the possibility of sushi nearby led to suggestions of Ichiban. By the time I picked up some wine at the store and got to Ichiban my food was ready - the counter attendant was friendly and sent me off with a smile. We had the 16-piece Chef's Special (Nigirimats) which was fresh and delicious and a Spicy Tuna Hoso Maki which also delivered on its name.
