This was a family outing during a stressful time while visiting somebody in the hospital. That said, we were all very hungry and looking forward to sushi and Japanese cuisine. The udon and tempura was fantastic. I was not at all impressed by the teriyaki chicken - under cooked, overly sweet and rice that was not very good. This is a great restaurant with a unique variety of top notch sushi. It's a great place to take the kids, especially if they like Asian food. What a great night. It was just busy enough. We have been at least 100 times and tonight we tried new rolls. I'm inspired to try a new roll each visit now. Staff is always friendly too. Not fancy like downtown but much better sushi. My husband and I love this place. We always go here if we want fresh sushi and great service. I'd say we go here roughly once a month and I've never had a bad experience. It has a great and accomodating staff that easily makes our group feel welcome as is grows and contracts. The menu has great variety and there is something for everyone, even those who may not have classic sushi on their eating list. The portions are generous and... The food is consistently good. The service is phenomenal. Inna has been our server for years and is the most attentive, sweet... Ichiban is very delicious. I got Basil Tofu fried rice, my husband got Bourbon Chicken and my friend got a Voodoo roll and fried ice cream. And I recommend the Ichiban Chicken/Shrimp, too. The sauce is like a "bang-bang" sauce. And most meals come with soup or salad either choice is satisfying.
