There is a privacy fence around my entire backyard with gate access to get to the carriage house. Inside, the carriage house has everything one would need to be self sufficient from a full apartment kitchen, a full bathroom and a good size bedroom. Linens, towels/washcloths, and all the amenities of a kitchen are provided for cooking.

It is quiet and friendly but located within walking distance of some local dinning and bars. Because it is one of the flat areas of Charleston, there are nice sidewalks and great walking or running options. The Kanawha River is just one block away so you can walk on the river or get to the capital in just minutes.Charleston now has Uber, and also a high-tech rickshaw called "Autopods" that will take you around downtown for $5.00 round trip.Autopods has an app that can be accessed via Apple and Android devices.The app can be downloaded by searching for "PickMeApp," all one word, in your app store.

The app icon has a "P" within a circle.From there you can follow the directions to help connect you to the company where you can ask for a ride or schedule one for later.Currently, Autopods is operating the vehicles weekdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m..There is access to the local bus transit (KRT) and a trolley stop almost directly across the street.
