The menu is extensive and reasonable. We always go to Sushi Ichi for its softshelled crab rolls. Had four types of rolls and paid less than 25 dollars. We prefer take away. They are not known for their service. My husband and I love Japanese food, and have been trying out quite a few in the area. This one hits the jackpot. We've been here 4 times now and each time has been spectacular. All of the food is authentic. The sushi and sashimi are so fresh, they just melt in your mouth. One of my favourites is hamachi... it was amazing to see such a nice cozy Sushi restaurant ,the sushi was very good and very good size ( not overly big neither too small) the prices were also very good loved the grape wines growing and making a beautiful entry to this restaurant

classical sushi, friendly service (although we were late ;-)), we enjoyed the different tastes, no special decorum, but who cares when you are longing for good food and you get! liked the service here! asked for chawamushi and even though the server didn't know what it was, she went into the kitchen to ask for me. they even offered to make it specially for me. had to borrow a phone to make a local call and the lady agreed readily. food was nice and value for money. The sushi is very good and fresh at Sushi Ichi. Service is surprisingly poor for a Japanese restaurant. We walked in at 7:45 and were told that they were closing in 15 minutes, but would "allow" us to order - even though posted hours are till 9:00 (still early for a restaurant to close). We ordered our food and sake... I have been to this restaurant a few times over the years and service has been reasonable. I took my partner out for dinner on her Birthday July 24 2016 and the service was appalling. There were no customers at the sushi bar and only a few in the restaurant.
