The Operations Manager will have direct responsibility for planning, directing, developing and coordinating the food service/contract catering and food delivery operation for the business. Ensure that all locations achieve, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed with the company and clients in line with the budget
Oversee and manage the Companies delivered arm of the business, managing the team to ensure the smooth running of the delivery operations Ensure all relevant health & safety and food safety legislation is met for the contract catering and delivery teams providing and arranging training as appropriate. Maintain a positive department attitude and ensure that all managers and employees under your management are aligned with company goals and values Desired skills and experience: Minimum 3 years' proven, successful experience as a contract catering manager in the B&I sector Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a high performing team as well as setting targets Brilliant communication, sales, influencing and negotiation skills Commercially astute with excellent financial acumen with experience of budget planning and management Customer Excellence focus with demonstrable experience Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to continuously review, adapt and improve

Must hold a valid 7.5t driving licence·Must have excellent customer service skills·Must have excellent time management and organisational skillsWith a minimum of 2 years driving experience, you must be smart and presentable have a full, clean C1 (7.5T) Licence along with an in date CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card. You will need to be physically fit and have the ability to be flexible to meet the varying demands of your customers. To project a high quality Disotto image both internally and externally and provide the highest quality service to our customers at all timesAs a driver you will be delivering our customers’ orders, on multi-drops, accurately and on time. You will need to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers and have the ability to resolve queries wherever possible.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities·Complete daily safety checks of your vehicle·Complete deliveries and collections of around 15-20 per day ·Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met·
Check for 'cash on delivery'and ensure all monies are collected·Ensure correct completion of Disotto delivery and collection paperwork·Expected to comply with Disotto Policy Code and appearance guidelines·Accurate recording of working/driving hours to comply with road transport regulations·Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA·Compliance with Health and Safety, hygiene and other related legislationThe Person ·Strong communication and teamwork skills·The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions·The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion·Strong organisational and prioritisation skillsKey Skills / Experience:·A minimum of 2 years driving experience·Ideal candidates must hold a C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence·Some experience in a similar work environment would be an advantage·Excellent communication and time-management skills·Customer service experience would be an advantage·Ability to work effectively under pressure·
